Baptism for infants & small children (6 and under) is celebrated on the 2nd & 4th Sundays of the Month at 12:30pm. Contact the parish office, at 410-6863085 or email [email protected] for a Baptism Registration Packet. Parents and Godparents are also required to attend a Baptism Prep Class before scheduling the Baptism. Children over 6 who wish to be baptized should be enrolled in our religious education program. Requirements for Godparents/Christian Witnesses
· The Godparents/Witnesses are to assist the parents and child baptized in leading a Christian life and in fulfilling the obligations associated with Christian living.
· Only one Godparent is necessary, two are traditional, one man and one woman.
· To be a Godparent one must:
1. Be a practicing Catholic (registered member of a parish and attend Mass regularly).
2. Must be at least 16 years old.
3. Have received the Sacraments of Baptism, Confirmation and Eucharist.
4. If married, married according to the Canons of the Catholic Church.
· For a BAPTIZED non-Catholic Christian Witness (must still have a Catholic Godparent that meets the requirements above).

2. Must be Baptized in a Christian Church.
3. Must be a practicing member of a Christian Church.
