Opening Our Emotions to God Through Contemplation. So

often we find ourselves at the effect of our emotions. Jesus calls

us to be transformed as whole persons, including our

emotions, by being in God’s presence. Through specific practices,

we can open ourselves to the gift of contemplation wherein our

emotions are accepted and integrated into our life in God rather

denied or repressed. The energy of those emotions can then shift

from a deficient/destructive self-image to an expansive one that

exits in God. Sat., July 17th, at 9:30 am to Sun., July 18th, at

1 pm, Cost: $150.00 (deposit $50.00) Guided by: Msgr. Nicholas

Amato, Location: Bon Secours Spiritual Center, 1525 Marriottsville

Rd., Marriottsville, MD 21104. To register, please call

(410) 442-1320 or visit www.BonSecoursSpiritualCenter.org.
